Description
The Maritime pine (Pinus pinaster) is a coniferous tree reaching up to 25-30 m.
Use
The Maritime Pine is mainly used in Bulgaria as a park tree. There are some forest crops developed from it in the seaside regions.
Parts of the plant are used in the production of food supplements as a strong antioxidant.
Germination is about 80%.
Storage
Seeds are successfully stored for up to 3-4 years at temperatures of 1 to -3°С.
